Beside Gewürztraminer and Sauvignon the grape variety Pinot Bianco is one of the most important varieties for South Tyrol.
The name „Vom Stein“ refers to the soil structure of the vineyards of this Pinot Bianco. Their soil is dominated by dolomite limestone which gives this wine its fine structure, elegance and freshness.
The label shows the development from the soil over the vine to the finished wine.

Vineyard training system: Guyot
Vineyard soil: stony and sparse dolomite rocks
Vinification: manual harvest, gentle pressing, fermentation in stainless steel, maturation on the yeast for 6 months
