The grapes for these terroir wines grow on the single vineyard Vigna Villa Karneid near Salorno in the most southern part of South Tyrol. This growing area belongs to the oldest and most traditional areas of the wine region.

This Vigna Villa Karneid Lagrein is characterised by its smooth flavours on the palate and its powerful aromas.

Vineyard training system: Guyot and Pergola

Vineyard soil: alluvial and loamy soils, dolomite rocks

Vinification: manual harvest, gentle pressing, fermentation in stainless steel for 10 days, maturation in new and used barrique barrels for 12 months
