The Massimo Leone Cellars are located in the center of the Tavoliere delle Puglie, where the Dauna city of "Arpi" once stood, founded by Diomede, king of Aetolia.
The vineyards are rooted in its Necropolis, where underground are a variety of archaeological finds of established historical importance, some of which are housed in the city's museums and other Italian museums. Forme Bianco is made from Falanghina and Fiano grapes.
