The Chianti Costavecchia is made of 100 % Sangiovese which is an autochthonous grape variety of Italy. It is one of the most important and most common grape varieties and forms the basis for well-known wines such as Brunello die Montalcino, Chianti Classico, Chianti, or Vino Nobile di Montepulciano.
