The grapes for these terroir wines grow on the single vineyard Vigna Villa Karneid near Salorno in the most southern part of South Tyrol. This growing area belongs to the oldest and most traditional areas of the wine region.

This Chardonnay Vigna Villa Karneid is made of 100 % Chardonnay and stands out with its intensive bouquet and its complex structure. It is a very versatile wine with a great potential for ageing.

Vineyard: single vineyard Vigna Villa Karneid (Salorno) - Bassa Atesina region

Vineyard training system: Guyot and Pergola

Vineyard soil: alluvial soils, dolomite rocks

Vinification: manual harvest, gentle pressing, fermentation in stainless steel, maturation in new barrels (tonneaux) for 6 months
