This Riesling “Rotschiefer” is made of the grapes of the vineyard young planted in 2012. The wine is traditionally produced in so called „Fuder“ barrels with a capacity of 1,000 liters. When the steep slope was newly planted, 1000 ungrafted about 100-year-old vines were found. They were cut back to 30 cm and then sprouted again.
