In 2011 Tobias Treis and his business partner and friend Ivan Giovanett have brought the vineyard to new life. Of the 9.5 hectares 4.5 are currently planted. The Sorentberg has an exceptional soil, called “Wissenbach slate”!\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e2 different Riesling are produced from the Sorentberg vineyard. This Riesling “Rotschiefer” is made of the grapes of the vineyard young planted in 2012. The wine is traditionally produced in so called „Fuder“ barrels with a capacity of 1,000 liters.
